Driven Technologies’ client for this engagement was a 50-user Law Firm in the southeast that supports a number of government-contracted manufacturers.
Due to the compliance requirements of the law firm’s government-contracted customers, the firm is audited once per year to validate compliance by a third party. The Law Firm approached Driven Technologies as a provider of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) managed service solutions, in order to help provide an additional layer of security, while also meeting their compliance requirements.
After successfully on-boarding and tuning the event correlator and SIEM device, Driven Technologies was able to provide the customer with a custom detailed weekly report as an output of the SIEM solution, which allowed them to quickly and easily review the security events from the previous week. This report also provided the Law Firm with the exact details needed to show the auditor and their customers that the firm is exceeding the requirements of the government contracts.
In addition to custom reporting, Driven Technologies’ Security Operation Center (SOC) is providing proactive remote security support and automated alerting to notify and remediate any cyber security attacks, as they occur throughout the network and data center, real time.
Due to the successful on-boarding of the SIEM service, Driven Technologies now provides additional security based services and has also replaced the firm’s aging and non-enterprise grade firewalls with an high-availability pair of next generation Palo Alto firewalls.
